Oh this is SOOOO annoying! I’m trying to report event spam in Google Calendar and can I find anywhere simple to do it on my iMac? If I click on the event itself – there is no SPAM link or button to report with. Basically every six months or so I wake up and find my Google Calendar (which I hardly use) filled with spam email invites (why the heck did the geniuses at Google allow them to be automatically added I’ll never know – except I do – because leaving it wide open it creates more activity).
So – how to go about reporting Google Calendar event spam..
So the million dollar question; How to Report Google calendar spam? Well – after an exhaustive search – I cannot find any way to report Event Calendar spam on iMac – only on iPhone or Cell phone (basically Google apps). Why is this? I have no idea. I can only conclude there is no way to report calendar spam other than using mobile app 🙁 To see how to do this other articles on blocking Google calendar spam on apps; try this. Meanwhile I will keep looking for a solution. For now the best solution for Mc users I can suggest is to block and stop it ever arriving in your Calendar ‘inbox’ so to speak. See how below.
