How to Face The Future When Your Husband or Wife Dies

Q: How to Face The Future When Your Husband or Wife Dies?

Here is a little video I found that may help you if you are looking for help or advice on how to face life when your husband or wife dies and leaves you on your own alone. This can be extremely daunting for anyone – especially if you have little or no family and especially you are old – something that very few people even consider will ever happen to them – but it can happen to any of us. Watch this short section of this video and I hope it blesses you and gives you the strength to carry on after bereavement.

Lonely – get a dog – no it’s not a silly idea!

One amazing piece of advice on how to cope with bereavement, that may sound a little daft – is to get yourself a pet – especially a dog? Why? Because one thing losing a loved one results in is depression – and there is no greater enemy of depression than having to get out and do something – ie walk the dog. Not only that – you will undoubtedly end up speaking to people as everyone loves animals. Best piece of advice I’ve heard for those suffering loneliness either through death of a loved on or other reasons.
