Predestination and Free Will

The godless technocrats – that group that is usually surrounded by a gaggle of contradictions – say there is no such thing as free-will – then proceed to expound on all the decisions they have made for us n their brave new world. Need i say more on that. So what about free will – does it really exist?

From a quantum standpoint perhaps not – after all God knows the beginning from the end. But in our finite and enclosed material universe that humans experience it appears we do. A paradox. But then if quantum physics teaches us one thing it’s that paradoxes can and DO exist.

It seems God predestined Free will. Anything else would be a not-so “all powerful God” that didn’t know the outcome:-)! An infinite God has to be outside time (or he wouldn’t be God) We should be thankful he sees the beginning and end. Within this all knowing and loving God we, within the boundaries of time, are free to do as we please – now that’s freedom!

Self Awareness

When we arrive on the planet we have pretty much no self awareness. We are like intelligent computers learning and reacting to our surroundings but real life enters us only when we are spiritually born (or ‘born again’) . Before I was spiritually reborn I would do and say things based on the moment – sometimes destructive to me and others. It took a long time to undo this but I have life . When I didn’t know what life to the full meant

The universe and all its conflict used to confuse me. But Ive now realised that to create beings that really love, you have to develop self awareness by understanding the nature of good and evil. The process of becoming self aware starts with accepting your need for God and before this happens, you are literally not in your right mind as the saying goes! I was so used to seeing things in shades of grey before I was spiritually born, that I thought

There is simply no way you can place a new born human soul who has free will into an arena of perfect Divine beauty (heaven) and expect him to either appreciate it or take care of it. It’d be like giving a 10 year old a Ferrari. Not unheard of! The child neither appreciates the gift and might even kill himself not having mastered the art of driving a less powerful car. I would go as far as to say that it is a Divine law (for Gods people at least) that you wont reach step two before you’ve mastered step one. With the small things in life it hardly notices, but as inevitably the bigger responsibilities come, god isn’t about to let you hurt yourself or make a mockery of his laws. How could he allowIt would be ou have to take care of the small things before God can trust you with divine beauty. If the divine beauty is in the form of a beautiful husband or wife then you have to be prepared. Too soon and you’ll make a fool of yourself through lack of training.

And although we have gone a long way down the road that leads to destruction – It is this deep need for love, an appreciation that we need each other, that has so far stopped us from reaching the point of no return. We constantly step back and have to reevaluate, because we instinctively know that by not loving each other we destroy ourselves. The answer is not to produce creatures incapable of evil. This capability teaches us the very nature of good and in the end leads to self awareness and real people.
