Many of you are probably stunned at the heading.  I know - I was kind of worried about putting it there myself.  However, I think that this is an important subject to cover, and this is the reason why - Each week I can review the search strings that teens search with on the Christian Teens site, and Masturbation is in the top 10 list.  Christian Teens are searching for advice on Masturbation.

Surprisingly, the Bible has very little to say about masturbation.  Masturbation is a topic that is rarely discussed among Christians, and is often embarrassing to teens.  If you masturbate - do not worry - you are not strange - in fact almost every teenager masturbates, they just often are too afraid to admit to it.

Teens however often have many questions about it - and of course the Internet is a private way to look for information.  However, the Internet can also be a dangerous place to look for this kind of information.

I have spent the last 3 hours searching the net for Christian responses to the subject of Masturbation, and let me tell you - it is hard to find without bringing up all kinds of trash, and there is not a lot of Christian Web sites that address the subject of Masturbation.

Therefore I have tried to create a list of safe web sites to review, that discuss the topic of Masturbation from a Christian viewpoint.  Click on the topics to the left to find out more.

Some of the web sites also cover overcoming addiction to pornography and masturbation, as well as methods for quitting all together.

I know that many of you are also going to ask what I think about Masturbation, so I guess I should tell you.  I do not believe that the act of Masturbation is a sin.  However, I definitely believe that Lust is.  I believe that masturbation causes one to lust, and therefore should be avoided unless it can be done without lusting - which I think would be very hard to do.
