How To Avoid Being Mugged

OK here’s a great tip and advice guide on how to avoid being mugged when travelling in dangerous places or walking in streets that are inhabited by thieves and robbers.

Get yourself a spare (old) leather wallet and in this place an old credit or debit card. Make sure this card has ALL the critical details scratched off because you don not want this to fall into the wrong hands. Also place in it $20 in notes – as many nots as possible to give the effect of lots of money!

When your attacker strikes…

OK you have been approached by a mugger and he demands your money.

  1. Pull out your fake wallet.
  2. Pull out the card so he can see it and say you only have $20 dollars (make sure you tell him the actual amount you have in there – you don’t want to aggravate an already hostile thief).
  3. Put it back in the wallet if you have time.
  4. Hand your mugger the wallet and run.

One more tip…

If you sharpen the edge of the credit card, you can have yourself a non-lethal defensive weapon that could be used to buy time by slashing an arm or hand in an emergency. But far better not to have to use this if necessary and give the mugger exactly what he demands and flee.

I repeat – have NO person info on the card or they may come after you when they realise they have been diddled by your spoof wallet and card!
