The idea of Fusion101 was created in a garage in surrey UK in 1999 after its founder began to appreciate the difficulties that singles in his local church were having in meeting and matching with other Christians. It is often the case - as it was here - the the founder of an organisation started it because they themselves are exposed to some difficulty or appreciate some need. Although Fusion101 isn't a charity, it is run as one and financed and pid for - and run by its owner in the interests of genuine Christians who need a bit of help meeting people.
