Wisdom
is the ability to see life from God's perspective and then to
know the best course of action to take. , Ecclesiastes
8:1, TLB. "How wonderful to be wise, to understand things,
to be able to analyze them and interpret them. Wisdom lights up
a man's face, softening its hardness."
We
become wiser as we become more like Christ. Luke
2:40, NIV. "And the child grew and became strong; He was
filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him."
We
can ask for God's wisdom to guide our choices.James
1:5, TLB. "If you want to know what God wants you to do,
ask Him, and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to
give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask Him; He will
not resent it."
True
wisdom does not come from men's philosophies and ideas. ,

We
become like the people we associate with. Proverbs

Peer
pressure often leads to bad decision making. Matthew
14:9, TLB. "The king was grieved, but because of his oath,
and because he didn't want to back down in front of his guests,
he issued the necessary orders."
Peer
pressure can lead to tragic consequences. Luke
23:23-24, TLB. "But they shouted louder and louder for
Jesus' death, and their voices prevailed. So Pilate sentenced
Jesus to die as they demanded."
Men's
philosophies and ideas can ruin your faith.Colossians

Wisdom
begins when we ask God to be our supply.I Kings
3:9, NIV. "So give your servant a discerning heart to govern
your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who
is able to govern this great people of Yours?"
God
offers practical wisdom to apply to life.Psalm
119:97-98, NIV.
"Oh, how I love Your law! I meditate on it all day long.
Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever
with me."
Trust
in God, He will make you truly wise.Proverbs
1:7, NIV. "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and discipline."
