What does The Bible say about Business?
"most great achievements cost someone very dearly"

It is unwise to make financial success a priority. Matthew 6:24, NIV
"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money!

It is wise to have a goal in mind. Proverbs 13:16, TLB.
"A wise man thinks ahead; a fool doesn't and even brags about it!"

Get wise counsel when setting goals. Proverbs 15:22, TLB.
"Plans go wrong with too few counselors; many counselors bring success."

The first principle of problem solving is get the facts. Proverbs 18:13
"What a shame -yes, how stupid! - to decide before knowing the facts!"

The second principle of solving problems is be open to new ideas. Proverbs 18:15, TLB.
"The intelligent man is always open to new ideas - he looks for them."

Plan carefully, not in haste. Proverbs 21:5, NIV. "The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty."

Goals should include submission to God. James 4:15-16, TLB. "What you ought to say is, "If the Lord wants us to, we shall live and do this or that - Otherwise you will be bragging about your own plans, and such self-confidence never pleases God."

The third principle of problem solving is hear both sides of the story. Proverbs 18:17, TLB. "Any story sounds true until someone tells the other side and sets the record straight."

How does God want us to respond to problems?
James 1:2-4, NIV.
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

Hard time solving your problems? James 1:5, TLB.
"If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask Him, and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask; But when you ask Him, be sure you really expect Him to tell you, for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a sea that is tossed by the wind; and every decision you then make will be uncertain, as you turn first this way, and then that. If you don't ask with faith, don't expect God to give you a solid answer."

Trust in God rather than self for guidance.
Proverbs 3:4-6, TLB.
"If you want favor with both God and man, and a reputation for good judgment and common sense, then trust the Lord completely; don't ever trust yourself. He will direct you and crown your efforts with success."

What' the key to success in Christian Business?
Joshua 1:8, NIV.
"Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."

Getting something done
Getting something done is an up hill struggle. Everythings pushing down on us, time, age, finances, even gravity! But god promises to provide everything we need for success, (only when we need it!)
Also God's thinking and idea of success may not be in line with yours! - so best not to argue with God. If your plans do go against God's, you won't be thrown out of the heaven but your plans might not work!

1) Learn to walk before you can run. Do one thing well before you go on to the next.

2) Weigh up what people say. People will often try to put you off saying something "can't be done" when it can. This is human nature. Consider what the Bible says and the effect what you say has on others. Naysayers never built great enterprises.

3) Don't be threatened by people smarter than you but don't attempt to do everything yourself if possible - share responsibility.
