Wisdom is the ability to see life from God’s perspective and then to know the best course of action to take, Ecclesiastes 8:1, TLB. “How wonderful to be wise, to understand things, to be able to analyse them and interpret them. Wisdom lights up a man’s face, softening its hardness.”
We become wiser as we become more like Christ. Luke 2:40, NIV. “And the child grew and became strong; He was filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon Him.”
We can ask for God’s wisdom to guide our choices.James 1:5, TLB. “If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask Him, and He will gladly tell you, for He is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask Him; He will not resent it.”

Peer pressure often leads to bad decision making. Matthew 14:9, TLB. “The king was grieved, but because of his oath, and because he didn’t want to back down in front of his guests, he issued the necessary orders.”

God offers practical wisdom to apply to life.Psalm 119:97-98, NIV.
“Oh, how I love Your law! I meditate on it all day long. Your commands make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever with me.”
Trust in God, He will make you truly wise.Proverbs 1:7, NIV. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.”

1) The ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting; insight.
