Looking for a
Christian alternative to Yahoo?
For at least ten years, and pretty much
since the web sprang up, there have been many 'yahoo' style web
sites on the Internet just dedicated to Christians and the Christian
lifestyle. Yahoo is basicly a super massive collection of Internet
sites and the pages that these sites contain. From the Christian
Theopedia, Christian Wikipedia, the new site Xianz, to the well
known Crossmap for Christians, the Christian Yahoo and Christian
alternatives to yahoo are springing forth all over the place!
A new addition to the my space for christians community is 'xianz'.
Here's a excerpt from an interview with the makers of xianz...
“Why then, with all these helpful tools and features, is
Xianz an invitation only website?” Robbie answers simply:
“We wanted to make Xianz the best Christian Social Networking
website the internet has to offer. There are a few Christian MySpace
clones out there who do not offer even half of what MySpace does,"
he says, "we wanted to offer the usefulness of MySpace with
a flood of other great useable features too. We've taken a few
months to focus on building Xianz up, to examine what works and
what doesn’t. By observing our large preliminary membership
base we now know what tools people use and why they use them,
we also know what people do not like to see and use and have been
able to make things better for all. Xianz is now ready to launch
out of its beta stage and will not only blow away the competition
but it will blow away all its current and future members as well.”

abundance but are obviously not as easy to come across as the

This website may be the bargain
basement of Christian yahoo sites.. the singles service being
a good example we found contained many passport hunter profiles
and the like - but the actual Christian content and websites contained
therein were good - this ones been around for some time. Check
